General Prayers for the month

Pray for lasting peace in the world:-

pray especially for  Syria;  Afghanistan;  Pakistan;  Libya;  the Middle East; Somalia;  Zimbabwe.

Pray for the families of servicemen killed in Afghanistan.

Pray for all those in authority over us:

pray for a healthy and successful Jubilee Year for the Queen and Prince Philip, and for all the Royal Family;

pray for our Prime Minister David Cameron, Nick Clegg and other Cabinet Ministers, Archbishop Rowan Williams, the Bishop of Bath & Wells, Bishop Peter Price, and Archdeacon Andy Piggott.

Pray for God’s continued guidance in the appointment of our new Rector:

keep praying for those still involved in the completion of the process and for the person who has agreed to accept the post. 

Pray for those with increased responsibilities during the vacancy,

especially our wardens Annabel and Jenny; pray for our Readers: Barbara, Franz, Jim and Shirley;  pray for the PCC.

Pray for those who have lost loved ones.

Pray for healing for:-

Pray for  Dr Wies Landheer (our new CMS mission partner) as she leaves for Gahini in Rwanda.
